Dewatering process of sludge dewatering screw press

Dewatering of sludge dewatering screw press can be divided into two stages. The first is to carry out rotary filtration. It mainly refers to the flocculation of sludge after flocculation to form a floc with a certain strength. The solid-liquid mixture containing a large amount of free water is vertical. The reactor overflow enters the rotary filter and the sludge moves forward under the push of the helical shaft blades.

At the same time, the free dewatering can be realized under the action of gravity. The roller of the sludge dewatering screw press is opposite to the spiral steering, so that the sludge is continuously tumbling in the drum, and the free water inside the floc is continuously filtered out, and the concentrated sludge is spiraled. The blade pushes the middle discharge port and enters the next stage dewatering process.

The second stage is called spiral extrusion. After the pre-dewatered sludge enters the sludge dewatering screw press through the hopper, the sludge is compressed by the taper screw shaft and the reducing diameter spiral. The water in the feed liquid is quickly separated through the pore-shaped filter cartridge, and the solid matter gradually decreases in water content under the action of continuous compression to become a filter cake, and finally is discharged outside the machine under the action of the spiral.
