Bearing installation method
The installation method of the bearing differs depending on the bearing type and matching conditions.
Since most shafts rotate, the inner ring and the outer ring can adopt interference fit and clearance fit respectively, and when the outer ring rotates, the outer ring adopts interference fit.
(1) Press-in installation
Press-in installation generally uses a press, but also can use bolts (composition: head and screw) and nuts, if necessary, use a hand hammer to install.
(2) Hot sleeve installation
The heat sleeve method of heating the bearing in oil to expand it and then installing it on the shaft can avoid unnecessary external force on the bearing and complete the installation in a short time.
Bearing wear is a common equipment problem in the course of bearing use, mainly caused by the metal characteristics of the bearing: although the metal has high hardness, it has poor concession (not recoverable after deformation), poor impact resistance, and poor fatigue resistance, so it is easy Cause adhesive wear, abrasive wear, fatigue wear, fretting wear, etc. Most of the bearing wear is not easy to detect.
