The sediment slides along the surface of the disc to fall off the disc and accumulate in the diameter of the drum. The separated liquid will be discharged from the drum at the liquid outlet.
The main function of the disc centrifuge is to shorten the settling distance of solid particles and expand the settling area of the drum. Because the disc is installed in the drum, the production capacity of the separator is greatly improved. The solids accumulated in the drum need to be cleared manually or dismantled from the drum through the slag discharge mechanism without disturbing after the separator is shut down.
